Level Fun Stealth Route

Quick Answer

Escape Level Fun by crouching past Partygoers, using a balloon distraction only when their facing blocks the route, and hiding under tables if a chase begins.

Escape Level Fun by crouching past Partygoers, using a balloon distraction only when their facing blocks the route, and hiding under tables if a chase begins. Your destination is the tiled exit area with slides into the Poolrooms, not another code puzzle.

This is the original Level Fun reached after Terror Hotel and the second Pipe Dreams chase. Level Fun+ is a later, separate level with different tasks; its colored keys and sector puzzles do not belong to this route.

Identify cover before approaching a Partygoer

The carpeted party rooms contain stationary Partygoers. They can notice nearby movement and react when you cross their view. Crouch while moving past them, use walls to stay out of their direct sight and avoid touching them.

At each new corner, locate the next table before walking into the open. A table is useful because you can crouch underneath it to escape a chase. A distant table you have not found yet is not a recovery plan.

Peeking helps reveal which way an entity faces without committing your whole body around a corner. Use the lean controls bound in your settings rather than stepping out to get a better look.

Use a balloon to change a blocked route

Early in the level, a balloon distraction can change a Partygoer's direction enough to let you slip past. The sequence matters:

  1. Identify the table you will hide beneath.
  2. Make sure teammates are ready to hide too.
  3. Pop a red balloon to attract attention.
  4. Crouch under the table while the entities investigate.
  5. Recheck their facing before you leave cover.

Do not assume one pop always creates the orientation you wanted. Observe the result. If the route is still blocked, repeat from cover instead of standing up directly in front of the entity.

A balloon is not a collectible objective that needs clearing from every room. If you already have a quiet route past a Partygoer, leave the balloons alone. Attracting attention can spoil a position that was safe to pass.

Recover from the group chase

When a chase begins, the music stops and the Partygoers react together. Move to the table you selected and crouch beneath it immediately. Reaching the table while remaining upright does not complete the hiding action.

Wait for the immediate pursuit to settle, then inspect the route again. The next move should be based on where the entities face after the chase, rather than where they stood before you triggered it.

In the larger room with many Partygoers, keep track of the side route and the next hiding place before crossing the exposed gap. This is a section where a short committed run to known cover can be necessary. Sprinting around the whole room without an identified table leaves you with fewer recovery options.

Do not make an unsuspecting teammate the chase target. If you need a distraction, coordinate it so everyone knows where to hide. On Nightmare, a death can end the run, making a sacrificial dash especially costly.

Preserve your route through the final rooms

Four colored slide openings at the Level Fun exit

After the crowded party sections, the environment changes toward tiled corridors and the slide exits. Use that material change as a progress marker. The route is moving away from the main carpeted Partygoer rooms.

Continue checking behind cover until you have left the pursuit area. A normally clear room is not automatically clear if you brought a chasing entity into it. Once the route is secure, reach a slide to transition into Level 37, the Poolrooms.

Sanity still matters while you work through the rooms. Use Almond Water when needed rather than treating a break from the entities as permission to wait indefinitely. Avoid the pink or red Liquid Pain bottles: their color does not make them a useful substitute for the supplies you need.

Fix the mistake that caused a failed pass

What went wrongAdjustment for the next attempt
A Partygoer saw you at a cornerPeek first, then choose the side outside its direct view
Popping a balloon drew a group chaseBegin from a position with a known table and warn teammates
You reached a table but still got caughtComplete the crouch and move underneath the tabletop
A distraction did not turn the blocker enoughStay in cover and verify the new facing before moving
You searched for keys or sector machineryConfirm that you are in Level Fun, rather than Level Fun+

The reliable pattern is to plan one passage at a time: observe the entity, identify cover, move quietly and recheck after a distraction. The slide exit completes this level without requiring you to clear every balloon or provoke every Partygoer.
