Level 2 Pipe Dreams Route

Quick Answer

Level 2, Pipe Dreams, has two visits with different destinations. The first takes you from Level 1 toward the Electrical Station, where the escape opening is on the left during the chase.

Level 2, Pipe Dreams, has two visits with different destinations. The first takes you from Level 1 toward the Electrical Station, where the escape opening is on the left during the chase. After Terror Hotel, you return through a different entrance and head toward Level Fun, looking for the colorful ladder entrance on the right.

On both visits, avoid the steam bursts and keep running once the Smiler pursues you. The long corridor is not an instruction to run all the way to its dead end; you must notice the side exit.

Choose the destination for this visit

Garage progression from Level 1Level 3, Electrical StationLeft-side opening into the brick station
Boiler Room exit from Terror HotelLevel FunRight-side ladder entrance with colorful lighting

The first visit does not let you take the Fun route as ordinary progression. A Smiler blocks that side, so head toward the Station instead. After the hotel sequence, the Fun route becomes the way forward.

Do not confuse the direction at the starting junction with the side of the final chase exit. You enter from a different position on the return trip. “Go left again” in a video can refer to the narrator's new orientation; the dependable destination is Level Fun and its recognizable ladder entrance.

Prepare before the dark stretch

The tunnel contains pipes along the walls and a dark section ahead. A flashlight is available near the approach to the darkness if you need one. Equip it before continuing so you can keep the corridor and exit openings in view.

This is a transition level, so you do not need to search for keys, repair breakers or solve a keypad. Progress comes from choosing the correct route and surviving it. An extended search along the pipe walls only delays reaching the actual exit.

Avoid the steam bursts

Bursting pipes release steam into the route. Contact can kill you, so do not treat the white cloud as harmless atmospheric fog. Wait for a burst to clear when the route is blocked, or stay beneath it where the passage allows a clear low route.

Resolve the obstacle before committing to a blind sprint. Visibility is limited in the dark section, and a flashlight helps distinguish the passage from a cloud crossing it. Movement tricks from older videos are not required to solve this level.

Take the Station opening during the first chase

A Smiler starts pursuing you as you move through the tunnel. Continue sprinting and watch the left side for the Electrical Station opening. The change to brickwork is a useful destination cue.

Enter that opening as soon as you reach it. Continuing along the main tunnel can take you past the exit to a dead end. Looking backward to inspect the entity makes it easier to miss the turn you need.

Reaching the station changes the task: you are now dealing with Level 3 and its fuse boxes. You have finished the Pipe Dreams chase and should stop searching that corridor for another exit.

Find the Level Fun entrance on the return visit

Colorful ladder opening from Pipe Dreams into Level Fun

After leaving Terror Hotel's Boiler Room, follow the available Fun route through Pipe Dreams. The familiar tunnel and another Smiler chase do not mean you must return to the Electrical Station.

This time, keep your attention on the right-side entrance with colorful lighting and ladders. Touch or use the ladder entrance to transition into Level Fun. As on the first visit, passing the side opening and continuing to the end of the corridor is the wrong objective.

If the tunnel seems familiar but your destination does not match the first row of the table, check where you entered. The level's repeated appearance is intentional progression, while the required exit changes with the visit.
